Welding technology for resistance welding – from development to preventive maintenance

Düring Schweißtechnik GmbH develops, manufactures and designs resistance welding guns and machines. Our key competence is the development of welding machines that are precisely customized to the clients’ needs.

We manufacture hand welding guns and complete serial robotic welding cells. Welding also equip the prototype area of major car makers and their suppliers.

Düring Schweißtechnik GmbH assists clients from the design to the supply, and also after that.

Development of customized resistance welding guns and machines

Many of out clients produce special parts with hard-to-reach welding spots. For these cases, Düring Schweißtechnik GmbH develops solutions for specific parts:

Designers develop the rear part of guns following the modular principle: the handle and the control units include standardized elements. The welding gun electrode arms are individually adjusted to the part by the experts from Düring Schweißtechnik GmbH. Our design and development team develops 3D drafts in close cooperation with the client.  Only later on the project plans go to production.

Production with great verticalization

The basic bodies of the guns and valves are manufactured in-house: At  Plant 1 for example, we manufacture unit pieces for welding guns, basic bodies and electrode arms. To do this, five-axis milling centers are used.

Then the parts are assembled at Plant 2 to form welding guns or special welding equipment, which are carefully tested and packed for shipping.

 

On-site assembly

We assemble the larger welding equipment directly at the client’s site and also start it. We also assemble complete Robot welding cells on site including devices to receive parts, robots, electrical cabinets,  welding current controls, accessories and safety devices.

 

Preventive maintenance and repairs

Düring Schweißtechnik GmbH remains close to its clients after assembly. Most components are manufactured in-house and are delivered quickly and reliably.
